Are there any tools out there that would allow me to implement a site search? I have a client that is non-profit so i was thinking that i might be able to use google's site search solution. The search must be able to earch dynamic pages and documents such as Word docs and PDFs. The site is on a windows box and the hosting company hasn't got back to use about setting up the index server (does the index server search dynamic content as well?) I'm basically looking for something like Cold Fusion's Verity search functionality.
Does anyone have any experience with setting up the Google search on their own site?

Google won't immediately pick new documents. Neither will any external solution.
Index Server is built in Windows, will see new documents after a very short delay (usually a few seconds) and will search PDF files as well provided you install the filter from Adobe.
So your best bet would be to convince your hosting company to set up Index Server.
